About the role:

We're seeking a Junior Climate Project Manager who is committed to sustainability and brings strong project management expertise, outstanding client relationship skills, a strategic commercial mindset, and a keen interest in carbon accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Carbon Assessments: Lead the charge in carbon assessments by onboarding the client on the platform, guiding them through the project and their data upload. You provide ongoing support and know the platform inside out!
  • Champion Climate Strategies: Lead the present back of the client’s project, supporting them in defining their climate strategies and bringing relevant reduction efforts where they're needed.
  • Impact through Product and Process Optimisation: Your close work with clients and technical insights will be pivotal in evolving our platform and methodologies. Your feedback is gold as we strive to automate and empower users through our platform and expand carbon accounting across sectors.
  • Commercial Development: Advocate for our unique offerings, including supplier engagement and social value modules, to enhance our clients’ sustainability efforts. Leverage your customer relationships to create business opportunities.
  • Broaden Y(our) Horizons: Expand your knowledge while enriching our databases and overall climate knowledge. Develop sector-specific expertise and deepen your understanding of climate strategy, from regulations to employee engagement.

Qualifications we look for:

  • Education: You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical studies, business, or a similarly relevant field.
  • Professional Experience: You bring >1-3 years of experience to the table, with a portion in project management and client interaction.
  • Communication skills: Both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and engage with clients.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in using productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM systems) is desirable.
  • Agility in Practice: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: You approach challenges with an analytical and problem-solving mindset. Your capacity to think critically and offer solutions is crucial.
  • Passion for Sustainability: You have a strong curiosity and motivation for climate and energy issues. Your desire to contribute to impactful work is at the heart of what we do.
  • Language Proficiency: Native-equivalent level in English. Other language skills are a plus.
